Not sure what options you have for your wedding during these uncertain times? Here are some of the ways we have seen couples navigate the COVID-19 restrictions.

Adjust your wedding plans to abide by COVID-19 restrictions

It is possible to have a wedding and reception during this pandemic, but it means making a lot of adjustments. You may need to change venues to accomadate an entirely outdoor affair and may have to compromise on some aspects like no dancing for guests and having face masks in your wedding photos. You should also keep in mind that some invited guests and even wedding party members may not be able to make it there to celebrate with you due to travel restrictions or health concerns.

Reschedule your wedding for a later date

You can keep all of your wedding plans the same and change your wedding date to a later date when there will hopefully be no more restrictions due to COVID-19 .

Downsize to a Microwedding

Keep your wedding date. Cut down your guest list to include only your closest family and friends and move your wedding location to the beach or your backyard or other outdoor venue. Have toasts and an outdoor dinner after to celebrate.

Have a Minimony now and plan for a bigger celebration at a later date

Have a small ceremony by yourselves or with your closest family and friends now and skip the reception. Have the big wedding you planned on your first anniversary or at another later date when there are no COVID-19 restrictions.

Remember, the important thing is that at the end of it all you will be married and you and your spouse will begin the next chapter of your lives together. However you decide to tie the knot, we would love to be there with you to capture it all.
