Marissa and Trevor | Hawaii Micro Wedding | Hyatt Regency Maui | Lahaina, HI

Marissa and Trevor were married exactly one year after they became engaged in the most romantic wedding ceremony overlooking the stunning Ka’anapali beach.  The sun glistened on the water as they said I do in front of a small group of their closest family and friends.  The intimate wedding ceremony took place at the Hyatt Regency Maui in Lahaina, HI.  Hawaiian inspired touches of exchanging leis and blowing the conch shell, not to mention the gorgeous tropical flowers, made the ceremony unique and memorable.

We get some incredible sunsets in California, but Hawaiian sunsets are like no other. The Hawaiian sunset that day wrapped Marissa and Trevor in the most warm and beautiful golden light, making for an enchanted couple’s portrait session after the ceremony.  We just love how the soft light makes Marissa’s veil sparkle.

Following the ceremony, the bride and groom invited their wedding guests to a delicious dinner at Son’z Steakhouse, nestled next to a serene pond filled with swans at the Hyatt Regency Maui.

We were so honored to not only be there to capture Marissa and Trevor’s romantic Hawaiian destination wedding, but also to have been the ones who captured Marissa’s reaction when Trevor surprised her with a marriage proposal exactly one year before..
