Melody and David are two of the sweetest and happiest people we have had the pleasure of photographing. Their wedding day at San Ramon Waters by Wedgewood Weddings was full of joy and a ton of fun and you can see that in all of their wedding photos. Melody and David literally smiled the entire day from beginning to end.
We started the day with Melody and some final touch getting ready photos in the bridal suite at San Ramon Waters. Then Melody headed outside for some first looks, first with her dad and then of course with David. We followed up the first looks with some pre-ceremony portraits with immediate family and the bridal party. The ceremony site and surrounding area at San Ramon Waters is full of mature weeping willow trees which make for a gorgeous background for wedding photos.
After pre-ceremony portraits, Melody & David and their wedding party went inside the San Ramon Waters by Wedgewood Weddings reception space to share a champagne toast and wait for the ceremony to begin, while family and wedding guests found their seats at the ceremony site. San Ramon Waters has is a gorgeous and lush ceremony site surrounded by weeping willow trees and greenery with white florals.
The indoor reception space at San Ramon Waters by Wedgewood Weddings was set up so beautifully and elegant with a chandelier in the center of the ceiling and drapery all around. One of the many great features of San Ramon Waters is that they have a completely separate cocktail hour space. So, while their wedding guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the room next door, Melody and David were able to take a moment to take in their receptions space privately and pose for a few photos.
Most notable about the decor were the wedding favors placed at each guests’ seat. Melody grew succulents in her greenhouse and packaged up one for each wedding guest. It was such a thoughtful and creative touch to their wedding.
When it was time for the grand entrance, Melody and David’s guests were in for a treat. This grand entrance was hands down the most fun, creative, and lively grand entrance we have ever seen. The bridal party entered carrying cardboard cut outs of Melody and David and streamers and performed the most animated dance moves. It was fantastic! Melody and David came with even bigger cardboard faces and were covered in silly string by their bridal party when they reached the sweetheart table.
After a super delicious buffet dinner, it was our favorite time of the evening…sunset! Melody and David set aside a few minutes to pose for some sunset photos outside by the ceremony site and golf course. The sunset over the Wedgewood San Ramon Waters golf course and through the weeping willow trees was incredible that day. The photos came out amazing!
After sunset photos, Melody and David shared their first dance. It was a sweet and beautiful choreographed routine that had Melody and David smiling through the whole routine. Then, Melody surprised her guests with an outfit change into a traditional Chinese wedding dress. As you can clearly see, the smiles continued all through the night.
