Mackenzie and Matt’s story started back in high school. These two sweethearts actually went to their prom together! Fast forward five years and the two find themselves both living in New York City after graduating college. The two reconnected and officially started dating. Fast forward another five years, they are both living in San Francisco, CA and Matt is popping the question at a romantic trip to Beltane Ranch Winery in Sonoma, CA, one of Mackenzie's favorite places in the world. Ten and a half years later, Mackenzie says "Yes!" to her prom date.
We had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session at Baker Beach in San Francisco. The fog was thick, as it is most summer days in San Francisco, and it covered a good portion of the Golden Gate Bridge. But, this did not at all take away from the magic of this engagement session. Their amazing chemistry had every single photo oozing with romance. I mean, just look at their smiles and how they look at each other! Clearly, this marriage was totally meant to be and we can’t be more happy for them.
