Maddie and Chris were high school sweethearts. It was clearly in the stars for them when they found themselves together in Boston after college, where Chris ended up proposing to Maddie. Since both Maddie and Chris grew up in Los Gatos, they chose to have their wedding in the South Bay near their families. However, the west coast wedding location didn’t stop their amazing east coast friends from making the trip from Boston to be by their sides on their special day.
Maddie and Chris chose the stunning Saratoga Springs in Saratoga, CA for their wedding venue. This was really the perfect choice for their October wedding day with it’s picturesque setting in the Santa Cruz Mountains and its proximity to their families.
Before heading over to their Saratoga Springs wedding ceremony, Maddie got ready with her bridesmaids and mom at the Hotel Los Gatos in Los Gatos, CA.
Then Maddie and her best ladies headed over to Saratoga Springs for her first look with Chris and some pre-ceremony portraits. Maddie chose a light blue hue for her five bridesmaids dresses in mismatched styles and paired them with white florals. Chris and his five groomsmen wore classic grey suits. The couple had a super cute little ring bearer and an adorable flower girl to round out their wedding party.
After portraits, it was ceremony time. Maddie and Chris chose a long-time friend and pastor to be their officiant, which made their wedding ceremony extra special and meaningful. The ceremony was followed by a few more portraits around the Saratoga Springs wedding venue and a cocktail hour for the wedding guests. Then, guests made their way to the family style picnic tables adorned with gorgeous florals for an absolutely delicious buffet dinner. Both the father of the bride and the father of the groom delivered heartfelt toasts to the bride and groom. After dinner, it was all about the dancing and s’more making around the fire. It was truly a night to remember!
