We had the best time with Jodi and Adam taking their wedding portraits in San Francisco! Jodi, a Bay Area native, met Adam in when she moved to Washington DC to pursue her career in international development. Adam, who was originally from upstate NY, was also working in Washington DC at the time when their paths crossed and they connected through their mutual desire to make the world a better place. They fell in love and said I do earlier this year in not one, but two wedding ceremonies. Due to COVID-19 and having families on both coasts, they decided to have two small wedding ceremonies, one in a Catholic Church in upstate NY with Adams family and one in the Bay Area in Jodi’s mother’s garden. We were thrilled to help them document their Bay Area celebration with a San Francisco wedding portrait session! They are the sweetest couple and were a complete joy to photograph.
For Jodi & Adam’s wedding portrait session, we adventured around Golden Gate Park, stopping for photos at both Shakespeare Garden and Stow Lake. Then we crossed town to finish the portrait session at the University Club San Francisco. Jodi looked absolutely stunning in her elegant lace wedding gown and Adam looked so dapper in his black suit with a grey shirt and tie.
Our first wedding portrait location in Golden Gate Park was the beautiful Shakespeare Garden. Shakespeare Garden is a perfect choice for couples who want romantic and elegant wedding photos.
Next up was an 8 minute walk over to Stow Lake. Stow Lake is a stunning lake in the middle of Golden Gate Park that offers paddle boat and row boat rides, as well as a beautiful stone bridge and waterfall along the side of the lake. The options for amazing portraits is endless around Stow Lake. Jodi and Adam stopped for some romantic poses on the east side of the lake before our time at Golden Gate Park came to an end.
We had such an amazing time with Jodi and Adam at Shakespeare Garden and Stow Lake and got some wonderful wedding portraits to help them remember this most special time in their lives. But, the day did not end there. Next we headed across the city to the University Club at San Francisco.
